Lean On Me

The old song goes Lean On Me when you need a friend. It is so true for all of us. If we are still breathing, we need one another. It really is all about relationships. In this video a tortoise is on its back, ever been there? How many times in our lives have we been there? Many times…all of us. But as the video continues there is a second tortoise that comes along and helps.

We are not intended to do life by ourselves. In fact the philosopher, and considered the wisest man ever, Solomon says, “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help him or her up.”

Some days we are like the tortoise on his back and in need of someone to come along and help. Some days we need to be like the tortoise who comes along and sticks out his snout to help turn our friend back upright and nudge them along on the right path.
