Recently, as the newbie at work, I was given the illustrious job of decorating the Christmas tree. One comment that my co-workers kept making was that they noticed I would step back from the tree every once in a while and take a look at what I’d done before placing another ornament. They seemed to think that was unusual.

Let Them Become

I’m sitting in a darkened theater watching our oldest daughter, Lauren, in rehearsal for a Christmas production. She has always had an interest in dance and drama and was thrilled when she was made one of the principal dancers in this show. It is so much fun to watch my child doing something she absolutely loves doing and, as a side note, is good at.
