Who do you need to thank?

thank you

It’s the week – Thanksgiving!!! We love this time of year – cool weather, endless football, and family. And to top it all off, we get to eat all the carbs our hearts desire (or dread) for a whole day.

So with the craziness of cooking, travel, and Uncle Bob’s bad jokes, we all need to take a few moments to reflect and be thankful.

There are so many things to thank our Lord for, but we’re going to focus on relationships.

Who are you thankful for?

  • Parents
  • Siblings
  • Uncles/aunts
  • Grandparents
  • Cousins
  • Spouse
  • Children
  • Grandchildren
  • Friends
  • Neighbors
  • Co-workers
  • Bosses
  • Employees
  • Pastors
  • People you do life with at church
  • Community leaders
  • State and national leaders
  • Those who take care of you – doctors, grocery clerks, hairstylist, trash collectors, etc.

This list could go on and on. Everyday we are surrounded by people who interact with our lives. Some give and some take, but they all are a part of us. Our thankfulness for each of them should be throughout the year, but probably not expressed as it should be.

But this week, you can do something about it. Call someone and tell them how thankful you are that they are in your life. Send a handwritten note, a text, or email. Visit them in person. Make this week truly mean something in your relationships.

Who do you need to thank this week?
